What is Ripper Rugby?
Rippa Rugby is the new game for young rugby players. It is a very safe,non-contact, easy-to-play game for both boys and girls alike. Best of all it'sfun and exciting for all involved.While the rules are simple and the game easy to learn, Rippa Rugby willpromote excellent ball-handling and running skills, and give all kids a chanceto participate in our national game. The New Zealand Rugby Union is proudto recommend Rippa Rugby and we are sure it will give the kids in yourteam a fun, safe and enjoyable sporting experience.

The module is aimed at providing a sports activity for children who play Friday or Saturday sport whether it be soccer, rugby, netball etc. who can come together & compete on a level playing field. No cancellations guaranteed on our all-weather synthetic fields. New pavilion overlooking the fields serving hot drinks & food. Come along and be a part of New Zealand’s fastest growing sport!
Team Entries Only ($500 per team)
E.g. Schools, Clubs, or Individual Groups. Same sex or mixed. Footwear is bare feet.7 Players on the field. Max. 12 per team.
Player Registration
All players are to be registered to College Rifles as a Ripper Rugby Player unless already registered to another Rugby Club in 2012.

Sunday 20th May to Sunday 24th June (7 weeks) Sunday 22nd July - Sunday 19th August (5weeks)
School Year Groups
Years 3/4 - Two sections of 12 Teams (24 in total)
Years 5/6 - Two sections of 8 Teams (16 in total)
Years 7/8 - Two sections of 8 Teams (16 in total)
Game Times (30 mins)
9:00-10:00am - Years 3/4 (A) & (B)
10:00-11:00am - Years 5/6 (A) & (B)
11:00 - 12:00am - Years 7/8 (A) & (B)
