Polytan have made great progress over the past month with the artificial turf replacement and are currently running to schedule which would have the fields completed on the 18th of December.  The next phase which will begin within a week's time will be to lay the rubber shockpad.  This is a big improvement on the previous turf system and will greatly improve the playing experience.  Once the shockpad has been laid it needs a few days to cure.  It is vitally important that it is not walked on over that time.  The damage caused by anyone jumping the fence will be significant and will result in that section having to be replaced.  So, we ask that everyone pays attention to the fields closed sign and stays outside the fencing.
