Premier Men v Te Papapa @ Fergusson Park 2:45pm
Our Premier men had a hard-fought win against Waitemata last weekend. The team showed plenty of character in a game dominated by staunch defence and clinical kicking from Zarn Sullivan and Moli Faiva. Despite losing two players to the bin, the boys rallied together to starve off repeated waves of attack from Waitemata to secure the win. Tumua Manu showed his experience in the midfield, whilst Moli brought energy and pace off the bench. This week, the team heads to Fergusson Park to face Te Papapa, who come off a default loss to University. Whilst the outsider might see a comfortable victory is pending, they can’t afford to take the team from Onehunga too lightly. Head Coach Mani Toailoa has selected a strong line up with a couple of new additions including Joe Fabish and Epeli Ula after impressing for the Under 21s and Premier Development.

Premier Development v Te Papapa @ Fergusson Park 1:00pm
Our Premier Development went down in a close encounter to Waitemata and will be looking to get their season back on track against Te Papapa after back to back losses.
Premier Development:
Premier Women’s v Harbour Barbarians 2:45pm
Our Premier Women’s had a much-improved performance against Ponsonby. The 24-3 loss did not reflect how tough the game was, as the score was locked in at 7-3 for majority of the match. Ponsonby scored a couple of late tries in the end to put the match out of reach. While they are out of the race for the Coleman Shield, the final round robin game still presents an opportunity to restore some pride in the season and in the jersey. This week they play Harbour Barbarians, who are a composite team, made of players from various clubs in the North Harbour region, many of which would have represented the Hibiscus Flower at FPC level.
T Birds:
Premier Development Women’s 10’s v Marist @ Dunkirk Rd 1:00pm
The Falcons head over to Dunkirk to play Marist. Marist who are last year’s winners have been the form team again. Our ladies are eager to put out an improved performance this week and the team is bolstered by the return of Lu Demant who suffered an injury during their first-round loss. They will be leaning on their experienced players such as Tongan International Ruby Tangulu and Meleane for direction and leadership.
Falcons:
Under 21s v University @ 1pm.
Our young guns have been tracking well and remain undefeated. After a patchy performance against Pakuranga, they will be looking for a much-improved game against University who have just the one loss so far this season. The towering prop in Ascot Mafi makes his second appearance at tight head prop after having a strong game last Saturday, particularly at set piece, while a reshuffled backline sees Jayjay Sheung Fuk slot in at First 5 to direct their impressive backline. The team had an opposed training session with Sacred Heart 1st XV on Thursday night at the club, to help prepare and fine tune their game ahead of this weekend’s fixture. Head down to the club to catch some of the action.
Under 21s:
Under 85s v Varsity Squids @ Home 7:15pm
The Raiders play their first Friday night game of the season here at the club. Going up against their old foes the Squids. It was a hard-fought game with the boys going down 26-3. Despite all the possession, the Raiders were not able to convert their opportunities into points. The score did not reflect the nature of the game, but the Squids team were too clinical in the end.
Raiders:
